This page explains how to request deletion of your QVault-Assessments account and the associated data, in line with Google Play and App Store account-deletion requirements and our Privacy Policy at https://drdishantpandya.com/qvault-assessments-privacy-policy.

How to request account and data deletionSign in to QVault-Assessments, then open Settings > Account & deletion. Export or back up anything you want to keep, select Request deletion, and reauthenticate when prompted. The same screen shows the deletion status. Eligible account data is deleted within 30 days after verification. If you cannot access the app, device, or sign-in method, use the email fallback below. Send an email from the address linked to your QVault account to: drdishantpandya@gmail.com

Subject line:

Account deletion request — QVault-Assessments

In the body of the email, please include:

- The email address used to sign in to QVault-Assessments (if different from the sender)

- Your role in the app (teacher, student, or institution administrator)

- The name of your institution, if applicable

- Whether you want to delete:

(a) only your account, or

(b) your account AND all associated assessment data, or

(c) only specific data (please describe)

We will reply within 5 business days to confirm receipt and to verify that the request is genuinely from the account owner. We may ask one or two simple verification questions before deleting data, to protect your account from unauthorized deletion.

What gets deleted

When we process a full account deletion request, we permanently delete:

- account identity data (your sign-in identifier, name, profile information stored in QVault)

- quizzes you created (drafts, items, options, media uploaded by you)

- live session records you created (join codes, session metadata, attempt records you owned)

- result records and result-access tokens belonging to your account

- entitlement / plan state tied to your account

- security and integrity diagnostics tied to your account

- support correspondence retained beyond what is needed for legal record-keeping

Backups of the above are also removed from active systems.

What may be retained, and why

The following data may be retained for a limited period even after account deletion:

- Operational logs and security audit records — retained for up to 90 days, then automatically purged. These are needed to investigate abuse and to comply with security obligations.

- Records required by law (for example, tax or financial transaction records related to a paid purchase) — retained only for the period required by applicable law, and only the minimum necessary fields.

- Aggregated and de-identified analytics that cannot reasonably be linked back to you — retained as aggregate data only.

If your account participated in an institution-managed workspace, some assessment artifacts (for example, results of a class you took as a student, or quizzes a school holds for academic record-keeping) may continue to exist as part of the institution's records. Those records are governed by the institution's own data policies. Contact your institution administrator to request deletion in that case.

How long the process takes

- Acknowledgement of your request: within 5 business days.

- Verification: typically completed within 7 business days of acknowledgement.

- Full deletion of eligible data from active systems: within 30 days of verification, or sooner where required by law (for example GDPR Article 17).

- Removal from backup systems: within an additional 30 days, as backup rotations complete.

We will email you a confirmation when the deletion has been completed.Deletion status and account freezeOnce the in-app deletion process starts, QVault blocks new account changes while the request is awaiting Apple revocation, requested, or processing. A completed request stays protected during the final token-expiry safety window. If processing fails, the app shows the failed status and you can retry. You can view the current status under Settings > Account & deletion. If you cannot access the app, device, or sign-in method, use the email fallback above.

Children and student accounts

If you are a parent, legal guardian, or school administrator requesting deletion of a minor student's data, please:

- email drdishantpandya@gmail.com from a verifiable adult / institutional address

- include the student's name, school, and class details so we can locate the correct records

- describe your relationship to the student and the legal basis for the request

We will treat such requests with priority and confirm completion in writing.
