ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Satsang Diary website, the Central web admin application, the Satsang Diary Yuvak mobile app, the Satsang Diary Sanchalak mobile app, and the Satsang Diary Central mobile app.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a mandal, zone, trust, institution, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
DESCRIPTION OF THE SERVICE
Satsang Diary is a role-based operational platform for satsang and mandal workflows. Depending on role and permissions, the Service may provide: Member and profile management Attendance and QR-plus-geo attendance workflows Activity and event registration workflows Study material publishing and access Reviewer, moderation, and approval workflows Temporary groups, forms, polls, and announcements Audit, oversight, and Central operations tools
Some features may be available only to certain roles or scopes.
ELIGIBILITY AND AUTHORITY
You may use the Service only if: You are legally able to agree to these Terms You have been given valid access credentials or access rights to use the Service
If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Service only with the permission, supervision, or authorization required by applicable law, a parent or guardian, or your affiliated organization.
If you create, upload, or manage data about other people, you represent that you have the authority to do so.
ACCOUNTS AND SECURITY
You are responsible for: Keeping your login credentials secure Using the Service only through authorized accounts Promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized access Ensuring that information you submit is accurate to the best of your knowledge
You may not: Share credentials improperly Impersonate another person or role Bypass authentication, authorization, or scope restrictions Attempt to access data outside your authorized role or mandal scope
ORGANIZATION-MANAGED ACCOUNTS AND ROLE-BASED ACCESS
The Service is designed for organization-managed use. Access may be created, approved, modified, limited, or removed by authorized administrators such as Central users, Sanchalaks, or other permitted role holders.
Your access to the Service, and the data visible to you, may depend on: Your role Your assigned organization, zone, or mandal scope Profile approval status Event eligibility or reviewer assignments Security or operational controls
We may act on instructions from authorized organizational administrators regarding provisioning, access control, moderation, and account lifecycle.
ACCEPTABLE USE
You agree not to: Use the Service for unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or fraudulent purposes Upload malicious code, corrupted files, or harmful content Interfere with the Service or attempt to degrade its performance or security Scrape, copy, or export data beyond your authorized permissions Misuse attendance, review, registration, or messaging features Submit false attendance, fraudulent registrations, or misleading reviewer decisions Use the Service to harass, threaten, or violate the rights of others Use demo, testing, or non-production flows as if they were authoritative production records
If you discover a bug or security issue, you agree to report it responsibly and not exploit it.
USER CONTENT, UPLOADS, AND SUBMITTED MATERIAL
You may submit content such as forms, registrations, photos, documents, notes, uploaded files, attendance responses, and workflow records.
You retain ownership of content you or your organization submit, but you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, transmit, display, and process that content as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Service.
You are responsible for ensuring that: You have the right to submit that content The content does not violate law or third-party rights The content is appropriate for the role-based organizational context in which it is submitted
BETA, DEMO, AND PRE-RELEASE FEATURES
The Service may include demo-first walkthrough modes, preview features, testing flows, or unfinished functionality. These may change without notice and may not behave the same as production workflows.
Do not rely on demo or pre-release data for formal operational, financial, eligibility, or legal decisions.
AVAILABILITY, UPDATES, AND CHANGES
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, including features, workflows, or supported platforms.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, updates, outages, security events, or third-party service failures may affect access from time to time.
FEES, REGISTRATIONS, AND PAYMENTS
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, these Terms do not create a promise of paid subscription features or in-app purchase rights.
The Service may display or record event-related payment or eligibility workflows operated by an organization. Unless explicitly stated in published commercial terms, the Service operator is not automatically the merchant of record for every event, registration, or organizational collection shown in the product.
SUSPENSION, DELETION, AND TERMINATION
We or an authorized organization administrator may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Service if: You violate these Terms Your role or scope changes Your profile or account is disabled Use of the Service creates security, legal, or operational risk The Service or related organization workflow is discontinued
Certain records may remain subject to audit retention, backup retention, or a recoverable deletion window. At the time of writing, some deleted operational records may remain restorable for up to 60 days before permanent purge.
Removing the app from your device does not automatically delete server-side records.
PRIVACY
Your use of the Service is also governed by the Privacy Policy available at: https://drdishantpandya.com/satsang-diary-privacy-policy
If there is a conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy regarding privacy practices, the Privacy Policy governs those privacy practices.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Service, including its software, workflows, interface design, branding elements, documentation, and related materials, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
These Terms give you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purposes, subject to your role and authorization. No ownership rights are transferred to you.
THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS AND SERVICES
The Service may rely on third-party services and infrastructure, including app distribution platforms such as Apple App Store and Google Play.
If you download the app through those platforms, you must also comply with their applicable terms. Those platform providers are not responsible for the Service except to the extent required by their own terms or applicable law.
DISCLAIMERS
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
We do not guarantee that: The Service will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted Every workflow will be suitable for every organization or jurisdiction Data will never be lost, delayed, or corrupted The Service is appropriate for emergency, safety-critical, medical, or life-critical use
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we and our affiliates, licensors, service providers, and personnel will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses arising out of or related to the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for claims arising out of or relating to the Service will be limited to the amount, if any, that you paid directly to us for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
INDEMNITY
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless us and our affiliates, personnel, and service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of: Your misuse of the Service Your breach of these Terms Your violation of law or third-party rights Content or data you submit without proper authority
GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
Subject to applicable law, the courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to these Terms.
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may update the effective date above and provide notice through the Service or website where appropriate.
Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
